In an effort to foster community among the docents, we are looking to create a richer online presence this coming season. Stacy Hayden, an awesome docent and web designer, has developed this Point Reyes National Seashore Winter Wildlife Docent website. We will be posting relevant presentations, weekly updates, etc. on the site. In addition, we’d like to include some docent pictures, biographies, and testimonials. This content will make it easier for us to get to know each other. If (and only if) you are interested and willing, please email some/all of the following:

A Brief Biography – 50-100 words in paragraph form. Your Name (Full or first name only). How many years you have been a docent (including the upcoming 2018 season). Include your email address if you would like your fellow docents to be able to contact you. Bio ideas: Any other volunteer experience you have either in Point Reyes or elsewhere. Knowledge expertise (bird identification, wildlife photography etc.). Relevant training/certifications. Other hobbies.

AND Bio Photo – Minimum 500x500px (we can crop larger sizes for you).

Testimonial – 50-75 words. Briefly explain why being a docent is important you or your favorite thing about being a docent. (Testimonials will be switched out every so often on the homepage.)

Thank you (in advance) to anyone choosing to participate!

Further information about this website will be presented at the training on December 16, including more ways you can get involved in helping to grow it as a resource.
