1:00pm – 3:00pm. “Elephant Seals 101.” Sarah Codde, Marine Ecologist, Science Division.

10:00am – 10:30am – “Radios 101.” Carlo and Sean.

10:30am – noon – Carpool to Drakes Beach. “Drakes Beach 101 + Optics 101.” Morning meeting example, set-up, visitor interactions, teardown and supply storage. Sean and Carlo

Noon – 12:30pm – Lunch

12:45pm – 2:00pm – Drakes Beach Tour and Wrap-up: beach, “hidden” pond, monument, Peter Behr overlook

2:00pm – 2:20pm – Travel to Chimney Rock parking lot

2:20pm -4:15pm – “Elephant Seal Overlook 101.” Set-up, visitor interactions, teardown, supply storage.

4:15pm – 5:30pm – Travel to Red Barn, help re-configure Red Barn tables, clean up, and thank you!

We are striving to make this as much a zero-waste training as possible so please bring travel mugs, water bottles, cutlery, etc. Bring lunches, snacks, layers for changing weather conditions, and binoculars if you have them (we have 4 or so to share).
