Thanks to all of you that attended yesterday’s training at the Red Barn. We had some great speakers and a very diverse set of topics. In an effort to foster community among the docents, we are looking to create a richer online presence this coming season. Stacy Hayden, an awesome docent and web designer, has developed this Point Reyes National Seashore Winter Wildlife Docent website. 2017 New Docent Training

We have sixteen(ish) new docents joining the Winter Wildlife Docent program this year. These folks bring with them experience from other areas of Point Reyes National Seashore and from Ano Nuevo. A number of the docents also bring with them a great deal of professional education experience. The knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm that was displayed during our training was awesome.
